The best story of 2005 thus far
I don't usually use my livejournal for telling anectdotes. But this is too good to pass up.
So tonight I'm at Applebees with Nora, and theres this group of old people sitting behind me (like, really really elderly people) and one the old women was telling this story right? And of course I would listen in now and then and it was usualy like:
"AND THEN DAVEY SAID 'PA, I AINT NEVER COMIN HOME!' AND GOT ON THE TRAIN!"
and the others would go:
"Oh my."
"I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING"
"A TRAIN!"
etc., etc.
So I finish my Oriental Chicken roll-ups, and I start listening back in (because this is what I do, apparently) and she goes, HONEST TO GOD I DID NOT MISHEAR, she goes:
"And it turns out, it was his flesh balloon!"
and the others go:
"Oh my."
"I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING"
"OH, it was his flesh balloon??"
etc., etc.
And of course after hearing this I'm thinking "Wait...what the hell..." And she then repeats herself saying "Yes! His flesh balloon!". And of course if you aren't aware what a flesh balloon is...well...ask around.
And to this day (hour) I have no idea what the fuck that was all about. But here are some reactions so far:
shakedown at ten: BAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA
shakedown at ten: WHAT THE FUCK
wildfandango2002: I DONT KNOW BUT ISNT THAT GREAT
shakedown at ten: THAT'S AMAZING
wildfandango2002: i think that she was telling a murder mystery
wildfandango2002: and that that was the final line of it
and
ieatphishraw: hahaha
ieatphishraw: that was the beginning odf the story
wildfandango2002: no the end
wildfandango2002: ...
(Connor didn't seem to get it)
