So what's with the zombies this week?

1. cosmicdolphin buys up a whole bunch of Undead Spanish Templar movies (dilletante, if you haven't seen these yet, they are right up your alley.)
   
2. dilletante posts about Zombies ("let my zombies go!") here.
   
3. mollpeartree and basingstoke point out the Zombie Dog story.

I just finished the 3rd "Walking Dead" comic collection, which is Zombies too. It's odd that zombies are one of the enduring monsters along with Vampires and Werewolves, they're so straightforward.

Well, I can only construe that we (as a race) have a deep seated fear of our own dead (logically, I'd think, as it's hard to know what it's like to be dead until you are ;-) )

I frequently wonder if Zombies and Vampires are variations on the same theme, but they seem fairly differentiated in at least our culture...
