in 48 hours i will be in my new apartment! although i orginally was very against the idea of an apartment, i've warmed up to it. i have a place that's all mine. this does not mean that i will turn into a lonely hermit, but that i can now have people over and "entertain." this means game night at my place, movie nights, girls nights, double-dates ( Read more... )

comcast has some deals right now
Something like 24.99/month for six months or something and then goes back up, but as far as I know, no contracts. You can call and ask them or there is a place online where you can get it pretty cheap. Also, once you do get internet from whoever, I'd love to provide you witt complimentary television :P if you're into that at least...

i'm into that. i'll go check out comcast's site for their specials, sounds like i need to worry about install. fees. the two of you will have to come over in a week or so when i get settled and have dinner.

congrats on the new place! you'll have to invite me over when you're all settled in. oh, and most internet and basic cable is fairly inexpensive month to month, but be prepared to get slammed with the installation fees.

click network is in most places around here. our internet was like $60 for the first three months, then like $83 every three months after that. and click has a lot of no install fee deals. i didn't pay for installation of either my cable tv or internet. and i think there might be referral programs, like when we had netventure i referred my grandparents and got a credit, but now we have harbornet so i don't know. then there's advancestream, and these are all through click.

every THREE months. so it's like $27 something a month but paid for three months at a time. i wouldn't recommend something (let alone use it myself) that was that insanely expensive!!
