It was the first time we took a very public vacation as a polyamorous triad. No one noticed, no one cared.
That's also been our experience, which is quite nice. It might be different someplace like Utah, where opposition to non-monogamy is fierce and old, but I'd pretty much expect that response anywhere else, although that might change during the (hopefully short) time period when poly visibility is higher but before the battle for acceptance, or at least toleration has been won. I think I'll mostly stick to the West Coast of the US during that era.
