Parts of my wardrobe in a nutshell

As many have complained to me that they have no idea what I have in my wardrobe, I'll try to post some of my more usual stuff in picture format, with notes and such.

One of my main suits -- a J.Crew Ludlow cut suit, worsted wool. I was originally going to get something made MTM from somewhere like Thick as Thieves, but honestly I decided to stick with something like J.Crew and just get it tailored down as usual. I may still go for something MTM as another option. I love the J.Crew styling of this suit -- it's got slim legs, narrow lapels, slimmer arm holes, squared off pockets, a single vent, and a lot of smaller details that make suit obsessed people like me happy.

As for how I wear it, classically, as with the photo model. I adore tie clips and pocket squares, and tend to err towards slimmer (2.75"-3") ties.

I also have a secondary suit from UNIQLO out of Kyoto (of all places, I know) that's a wool light gray suit. Super slim, I adore it. I also have some other J.Crew suiting, particularly blazers of a similar cut (one in Khaki).

Levis 514s are my usual option for dark wash jeans, as they fit my legs perfectly. 514s are slightly tapered straight slim legged jeans, meaning they fit ridiculously well, basically embodying a hybrid between skinny and straight jeans. For my muscular legs, you can't get much better. I have these mostly in deep deep indigo washes, but I have a pair in white and gray as well.

My everyday go-to shoe. DKNY oxfords with a lengthened toebox and a slightly higher heel. I wanted something oxford-y to go with jeans, but still something with a deliberate style. I wear these almost incessantly.

My new boots -- Chippewa Kathadins. Basically boot/oxford hybrids. Ridiculously comfortable, kick Red Wing ass.

For when it gets rainy, a classic Burberry trench. The only difference is mine is slightly darker and a bit different, and I have had it heavily tailored to be slimmer in the body, so it looks decidedly more modern.

I originally wanted to go for an oldschool Schott Perfecto, but I decided at some point to scale back, as I found a lot of the sizing a bit difficult and the price prohibitive. Thus, I purchased this in Japan -- a UNIQLO faux leather motorcycle jacket. While I tend to detest fake leather and cheaper jackets, I got this for about $40, and it has served me incredibly well, and continues to do so. The fit is fucking incredible. I'll replace it one of these days.

For polo shirts, I very much prefer Brooks Brothers Slim Fit polos. I tend to like Brooks for men, as the quality is always incredibly awesome, though the prices always tend to err on the side of the exorbitant. Still, the fit kicks ass.

For sunglasses, a pair of Ray Ban RB 3293s. Larger size to suit my face, with a slight curvature to cover more of the eye and look less antiquated.

I tend to hate American Apparel for a lot of reasons, but I like their v-neck sweaters and henleys. Pictured is their sweater on a skinnyfat wannabe. The sweaters are suitably tight in both the chest and the waist, which I adore -- I hate baggy stuff.

I'd picture more, but I have a lot of little stuff all over the place -- a lot of different shirts from Brooks Brothers/Calvin Klein/Yves Saint Laurent/Dior/UNIQLO/DKNY/etc, different shoes, and a variety of undershirts and the like. Still, there you go, a series of stuff I wear.
