Now Hearst Castle was pretty impressive. There's even this swimming pool where the shape of the water creates an optical illusion. I want me one of those. I only wished you could walk around the property at your leisure instead of following a tour guide.

And you can get fitted for a bra for free at Victoria's Secret (I've been dragged along there a few times). You could just let them figure out your size and then leave without buying anything, if you wanted to. Oprah said most women are wearing the wrong size (yes, I watch Oprah sometimes).

The image of you sitting in a VS is great. I am laughing so hard.

And actually, just about any store that sells bras will fit you for one for free (with or without purchase). I just have never gotten around to doing it. And I haven't even been near a clothing store in forever.

My mom raves about Hearst Castle. She's insisting that if I go, I make a few days out of it and go on every possible tour because each of them is very different and very wonderful.

Speaking of my mom... we went down to Pt. Reyes yesterday and we both remembered all the fun times we had with you and your dad and brother down there. I want to go camping at Coast Camp and head back to the rock were we'd go tidepooling!

I actually wouldn't mind going to VS quite so much if they would be more like other stores and have a few "husband chairs" (that's what we call them). Last time I got creative--there are two rows of registers, one on either side of the store, and only one side was in use. So I sat on the counter (and read the blank job application someone had left there).

It's been over a decade since I went to Pt. Reyes... so many distant, fond memories. Good thing there's so much amazing forestland up here to give me my nature fix.
