About the restaurants, we went to Bacco, very good, at the W French Quarter. i was talking to a coworker who was there last weekend. She mentioned a place called August, supposedly the best restaurant in NO.

oh yes! i just looked for the August website and it's under construction. darn! i've always wanted to go to bacco, too. oh welll, we can never move away. too many restaurants to try.
