Why is someone mowing a lawn outside during winter? Oh. That's a snow blower. :P

We three went out for a walk this evening in the freshly fallen snow. It's a wonderful feeling wandering the quiet neighborhood streets at night when everything is still blanketed in an even layer of soft whiteness. Mr. Giles loves the snow, too. He ate some and generally pranced around in it.

No one at work has commented on my silly mustache. We are getting our department YEARBOOK PHOTO taken tomorrow at the end of a meeting. I will keep the mustache until after it has been recorded for all time in my school's yearbook.

This boutique eyeglasses shop in Durham has ruined me for cheap glasses. Before my last couple of pairs of glasses from that shop, I used to get fairly inexpensive glasses at LensCrafters or other such mass outfitters. But today, as I looked into getting a new pair of glasses and updating my lens prescriptions, I couldn't bear to take myself over ( Read more... )

Al Franken came up and said hello to Mr. Giles this afternoon outside the coffee shop.

I have received 25 emails so far today at my work address that all require some form of response or added work. Sigh.

Mr. Frog just figured out why our windows are so drafty. It's not so much the seal around the edges that is leaky but the holes for the rope pulley system. These are old windows, and the wind just comes pouring in through those holes! He is now stuffing those holes with cotton. :P

We three fell asleep on the couch this evening during Heroes. A little later, I woke up when Giles started growling. Mr. Frog was across the room, getting ready for work. Sometimes Giles wakes up a bit grumpy and/or startled. :P I freaked out for a split second, thinking that someone had broken in, until I realized it was just Mr. Frog.
