I couldn't get through it. I find Gaiman fairly long-winded.

When this first came out, Gaiman did a signing at Pages for All Ages and read the bit about the road to Cairo since he figured that this was the closest he'd get to that location for reading it. After hearing that, anytime the book got tedious for me I just called up his voice for entertainment...

I hate to admit I kind of agree. There are some great parts, but I think he's generally a better short story writer.

Wow, I feel so vindicated! I thought something was wrong with me because I had to slog through to the end. I liked it at first, but then it just kept going and going and going and going ...
