Kara returns to her room after the first day of classes. Shop at 8am was going to be rough, but it was fun. She built a coffee machine. Sort of.

But now, there were other things to deal with. She leaves a brief message for Samuel and goes to hit the showers.

A little bit worried after receiving Kara's terse message, Anders comes down the hall and knocks on the door.

"Thrace, it's me. You in?"

Scrubbing her hair with a towel, Kara answers the door. "Hey, Samuel," she says, keeping her voice neutral as she lets him walk through. She closes the door behind them and locks it. No need for anyone to break in on this conversation.

Anders edges into the room a bit and leans against the wall, then thinks better of it and sits on the edge of a desk -- he's not sure whose -- instead.

"Got your message. What do we need to talk about?"

Kara leans against the door and watches him, her jaw clenched. "Had a revealing conversation with Parker yesterday," Kara says after a moment. "Seems she knows about what happened that evening. You been flappin' your mouth around, Samuel?"
