Kara wakes undisturbed, which was a change from every other time. Her night hadn't been very peaceful, as Lee woke her every hour per doctor's orders. Her head was still pounding, but she wasn't shivering anymore ( Read more... )

After the common room, Cameron decides to check up on Kara after last night. It really has nothing to do with feeling guilty. He knocks on the door.

Kara pulls the covers down as she hears the knock and calls out, "If it's open, come in, if it's not, you're out of luck!"

Apparently he's in luck because the door opens. "Yo," he says softly, mindful of the concussion, and closes the door behind him.

After this: Lee comes in looking a bit worse for wear as he's covered in white paint, sweating from exertion, bruised all over from last night's battle plus the act of breaking down a frakkin' door, and feeling stupid for, um, breaking down a door. Which he'll have to pay for. He carefully puts the firearm back in a drawer.

He looks over at Kara. "You doing okay?" he asks.

"Better than I was," Kara replies, sitting up in bed. "What the frak happened to you?"

"Xander got his ass locked in the closet last night. Had to break down the door to get him out," he replies. "I'll be in the shower," he says, peeling off his ruined clothes.
