I'm trying to not want to pounce on her because I don't want to wreck our friendship, but she's so insanely hot that it's not the easiest thing to avoid thinking about

Awww! Squish-squish. She seems like quite the precious little jewel, that's for sure. I mean, even the way you talk about her in this entry is so beautifully endearing. I'm sure she's a doll. And you're so sweet to her.
Aw, just go ahead and get hitched. And if you need someone to sing a hilariously overwrought cover of a Whitney Houston song at your wedding, I'm your girl. I also do a mean Bohemian Rhapsody. Not kidding.
...Or am I?
Haha.
Just the same, she sounds like a real peach. =) And you're totally crushing, admit it.
I fully admit to having a super-huge-crush on her...pyramidnowSeptember 7 2006, 15:56:33 UTC
... but I really do like being friends with her and right now isn't a good time to pursue anything more. One of our best friends just had his girlfriend move away and we're all looking after him, so I'll likely let this sit for awhile. My plan is to then quietly enlist a couple of friends to get on my side about the whole thing because she's gonna be concerned about how this would effect our circle of friends

SIGH. ... I wish...pyramidnowSeptember 7 2006, 17:54:50 UTC
Me = Not a studmuffin
Like one of my new favourite sayings that I use whenever my sarcasm is met by other people's sarcasm: "Oh, if that's the way it came across, then I told it wrong..."
Example: Me: "I got to stay late at work today because I had promised a report would be done." Somebody: "That sounds like fun." Me: "Oh, if that's the way it came across, then I told it wrong."
Most people think I'm about the nicest guy they know. Problem is that the girls are usually scared to lose me as a friend or make things weird. Valid concerns I say.
Ahhhh... the nice guy curse. I love it. That's why I like to mix things up every once in awhile and act like a jerk to people.
Like another of my sayings: "If I didn't act like a jerk to some people, how would anybody know when I'm being nice to them?"
