I work at 970 WFLA, talk radio. So you're asking the wrong person if you're looking to jock However! I will give you the best advice I have--bug the shit out of the program manager of the stations you want to work at. Eventually you will annoy them into giving you the job, it works in radio so well--really. When you do get a gig accept anything they give you and bust ass. I lost count how many people got their start that way.
