...wait, whaddya mean that wasn't what it was called?
Anyway. Um.
So...that was kinda...boring? Like, I was like "oh, dramatic twist, oh, enigmatically evil Campbells." Nothing happened that I did not already expect. Also, Dean's whole hallucinations thing? So over the top, jfc. God, this show. Subtle as a sledgehammer.
Sam, babydoll, love of my life--I am praying that this isn't you. You're kinda being a huge dickwad, and your motivation for it is shoddy at best. At least in the past when you did unpopular things (demon blood and running away), I could chalk it up to your various needs for retribution and hard-headedness. It's something I've always liked about you: your motivations are easy to understand. But this? This is just toolery of the first degree. Baby, help me out here. :(
(Sam used his own knife, his own salt, his own holy water. All of that coulda been rigged. Crossing my fingers.)
Lisa, Lisa, Lisa. Instinctively, I like you. You're a tough cookie and very sympathetic. Intellectually, I'm still confused. WHY DID YOU TAKE A DEPRESSED, SUICIDAL, PTSD-SUFFERING ALCOHOLIC INTO YOUR HOME WITH YOUR PRETEEN SON? I like you, I do. I'm just so worried about your current life choices--please don't end up dead. ;o;
Sam, your hair! It's better. Still needs a bit of work, but better!
Dean, NO TRACK PANTS, NO.
I was excited for Campbells, but now they can gtfo. I can't believe I'm saying this, but no ensemble, please? It always means our boys are incompetent when there's an ensemble. So, um. Huh. Fewer Campbell scenes?
Was that Bobby's normal house? It couldn't have been. Where WAS that?
I'm sorry, Dean. I'm really sorry. -hugs- This blows for you, and it's not your fault.
All in all, I was entirely underwhelmed by the show, although no less enamored of the fandom. Is it next week yet?
