You're teaching now? Welcome to my world! I'm interested to hear your thoughts on the classroom atmosphere. I myself have always had a horrendously difficult time of it. Too sensitive, I guess.
Anyway, I hope all is well with you. I've made the switch from blogspot to livejournal, and I see you and I have many of the same interests -- Alain Badiou, for instance. He's integral to my dissertation, which I fully intend to finish before I die.

As for teaching, I like it well enough but am beginning to hate some of my students. Only some of them. I am too easily frustrated, I think.
I'm glad you're here -- I've been wondering about you. As for Badiou, I've finsihed Ethics but start and restart Theories and L'Etre et L'Evenement over and over. One day, I s'pose.
