Kelly! You, said, "I can dig it." Joey says that all the time; it's one of his catch phrases. How odd and wonderful!

In any event, may I see you poem? Just me? I promise I won't show it to anyone else, and you know I won't mock you. I'll love it. I am always so eager to read anything that you write; you are the best writer I know, even better than me, I think, in so, so, many ways. But let me know. I will not mention again if you do not want me to.

Also, I like the quotation from Derrick Brown. I'll have to look into reading his writing as well. And alas, I have not read Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I should, shouldn't I?

Anyway, as always, I love you dearly.

No! Well, maybe. Maybe I'll bring you a copy so you can see it in person when I finish it a bit more? We'll see, how's that?

Derrick Brown is fabulous. He is also the poet that I cried on last Friday. He has some excerpts of his poetry at his website: http://brownpoetry.com/ Take a look at the video of him reading/singing "Kurosawa Champagne" and listen to him read "The Demon's First Date" aaaaand! Have your speakers on when you get there. He is a funny man.

And yes. You should read G.G.M.
