A drabble dedication to Erica... who has not yet finished FFX so there is only the one spoiler in here that she knows about. Just my way of saying thank you to a person mature beyond her years and a true friend. She loved this scene so it's only fitting I drabble it for her.

I really like this. It's the second story I've seen in a little while that has been about Auron's time in the other Zanarkand. I don't think people write about it enough. I really like the way you give Auron an emotional response to the loss of this Zanarkand, the way he both dreads and welcomes the sight of Sin. I really like the dea that Jecht encourages him, basically gives him a pep-talk like before a blitzball game.

Thanks for looking over these! I'm glad the pep talk gave that impression! On the second run through when I knew everything that was going to happen I couldn't help seeing that start in a completely enlightened mind state, because he must have known what Jecht appearing was going to mean for him and Tidus. Then the way he reacts in Zanarkand when they return there in Spira made me realize that he hasn't ever forgiven himself for what happened. Although he acts emotionless how could he not feel something at that moment?!

:) I don't think he does act emotionless really, so much as he acts like he can't share his emotions with anyone - except for Tidus really. I think that he opens up to Tidus because he feels he owes it to him or something since he's Jecht's son.
