Went to see theSTART, on Saturday night at Peabody's. As soon as we walked in, Aimee was standing right there at the bar. Didn't even know what to say to her. Within 10 mintues everyone not in a band, had to go back outside

Holy shit! you are so fuckin lucky! i wasn't sure they were even still around! i saw aimee with human waste project years ago - i met her at Irving Plaza - she's very sweet - i wonder if they are going to be coming to new york anytime soon.

Yea, after HWP broke up, Aimee formed Hero, with Jamie. Although that name was taken by a billion other bands. Her mom came up with theSTART, and the rest is history.

It was an awesome show. Can't wait til tomorrow. I was personally invited to the show, by Aimee. It was just booked, when she told me. Not even posted on their site or anything. I felt special. = )

They will be in NY next week on August 10 in Farmingdale @ Downtown. That's the only show in NY.
