Statistically America is doomed. Name one culture that has existed for a reasonable amount of time (i would personally define reasonable about 800ish years, but I'll leave it up to you) where the people had a lack of religion… If you can… let me know

Despite what you may have heard in church or on talk radio, America isn't doomed because schools don't require student prayer, or because the Ten Commandments aren't allowed to be venerated by agents of the government. America is still a nation with many religious persons in it. I cannot think of a single instance in which the absence of religion has occurred completely within any culture, let alone an instance in which such a culture was brought to ruin by such atheism. A more provocative idea to ponder is all the cultures that have died out despite the fact that they possessed religious devotion. Those, I guarantee, are far more numerous than the supposed atheistic ones.

I'll name you one, if you can name me one where all religious expression is banned.

as it is, many people in this country/society are religious. but if you refuse to see any non-christian as religious, then I suppose it does seem like there is a huge amount of atheists. Just because they don't believe in the same god as you doesn't mean they aren't religious.

Have you ever thought about what your entry actually means? Why can't humans survive without religions?

Neveermind the arguement about the validity of religion...

Think about why humans don't seem to have the ability to self govern.
