This is what sucks---I know I'm being kept around as backup. And yet--I'm still here. Why? I feel like I deserve better than that, but I love her a lot. And even if I can't love her, I like being friends with her. Even though it hurts.

You have to understand that this totally isn't like me. I would not normally put myself through this, unless I really felt it was right. When we are together, and things are going well, I feel closer to her than I have anyone else. Ever. It is so easy for us to laugh and smile together. On some stupid level I think L thinks it's right, too, but she's really confused about what a relationship is supposed to be. The times we've seen her together with D, they don't seem to be especially happy or close. *shakes head*

I'm with vespurrs on this one, hon. I don't see where the pros are outweighing the cons - is a few moments really worth so much misery?

You DO deserve better than this. She knows she has you exactly where she wants you, and it doesn't cost her anything more than a few crocodile tears from time to time. I've got to cast my vote with the rest of the group and say get away from her FAST. Whether you get back with Mo or not, L is NOT good for you.
