seriously, nurses make AWESOME money, like up to 60k a year depending on location and specialty, which for a four year, isn't too bad. PLUS being a nurse, you don't need insurance, nor will you have to worry about being sued and you can get your degree in like 4 years. pre med and nursing have most of the same classes, so maybe use nursing as a back up plan if you decide in like a year or two that maybe medical school isn't for you. but whatever you do i'm sure you'll be great at it! :) good luck!

"Two roads diverged in the forest, and I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference."

Don't settle for less SJ - the easiest path isn't always the one you're meant to go on. Besides, if there is more of a demand for nurses right now, that means that in 15 years the field will swing again because the tide will flow to nursing - and then doctors will be in demand. Be in the position where you can follow your dreams and retain a lucrative practice - don't let the idea of monetary success guide you to happiness, in the end, your life is only what you make it, and your career should be a part of your life.
