Long time no post...
Well, since I'm snowed in today and at somewhat of a loose end, I thought I'd post something - for the first time in almost 10 months, it seems! Think I may start posting more frequently again, we shall see.
In the last 10 months I have, among other things:
* Been working in the same place as ever, although I've changed roles twice.
* Done a fair amount of re-enactment. (Any Milites deBec members reading, you guys keep me sane, for a given value of "sane"...
* Stewarded at Guilfest for the second year running (which is great fun, I recommend it to anyone who wants a cheap way to get to a music festival. Not sure if I'll make it next year tough, for various reasons, one of which is below).
* Started driving. (Hurrah, mobility!)
* Saw several sets of good friends get married, and several more become engaged. (Congrats to all - you know who you are!)
* Become single again after four years. (Least said the better here, I guess).
* Apparently regained my insomnia which I thought I'd banished. (Oh well, more hours in the day).
* Bought a house. I now have a mortgage, a shed AND a garage. (Man I'm old.)
* Started playing Magic: the Gathering again. (Geeky AND old.)
* Been to my first convention (Collectormania in London. See comment above).
Hope you're all paying attention, there will be a test later! :P

How Is Everyone? What have YOU been up to this year?
I know what I've been up to, but writing the list above made me think about a few things in a way I hadn't before. Maybe it will for you too?
Anyone else who's at a loose end (due to snow or otherwise), feel free to leave me a comment with a quick list-type rundown of the things that come first to mind when you look back at your year - even if it's things I already know about. It may make ou see the year in a new light!
