I say existed because we didn't survive it. We just stayed in a house that was built by the sweat and blood of others that knew how to build a house by the sweat and blood of others. doesn't sound like waiting to die so much as it sounds like waiting for the hiatus to end. when we boarded up last year it was sort of like being stuck out in the woods or in a mildly strange country on layover-- we did the best we could to live normally and in between we just sort of waited for everything to start up again.

but i'm glad you guys are still around
