School is so boring! I don't know why I even bother going, it's not like they teach me anything I want or need to know! If Moegi and Udon weren't there and if it wasn't so much fun skipping class, I probably wouldn't go at all!

I need a teacher! I want to be a great shinobi like my grandpa! I miss him...Maybe I'll go to the arcade tonight. ( Read more... )

While I was out in the city, I might have seen you. I remember your face somewhat.

Were you the one getting chased by rabid kittens, or have I mistaken you for someone else?

They were probably rabid birds, not kittens.

I don't ever remember being chased by kittens...

You know there are a lot of things taught in school that could help a shinobi. Physics and geometery can help you figure out where something is going to land, or how strong a person must be to throw something a certain distance. A little history might help you see a hole in someone's story, and languages are great for spying. Don't write it off just yet.

Actually, it's a lot of work. And pretty dangerous. There are certainly fun aspects, but without all those "a lot of work" those aspects will get you pretty badly hurt.

Of course, if someone my age told me this when I was your age I wouldn't believe him either.
