Last night I played Dodgeball for 3 hours. That made me exhausted. This morning I did not wake up for my alarm. As a result, I did not make it to my class from 9-12 or my meeting at 12. Goddamnit, my computer's fucked, and I can't figure out how to fix it. It has been suggested that I uninstall and reinstall the OS, but I can't figure out how to do that, and my brother (i.e. Tech Support) isn't returning my calls. So, that was extremely awesome. I finally got my butt over to Bingo Night, and I ended up winning $100. All told, I spent $13 on cards, so it was a net gain of $87, but it was toooooooootally worth it. The only downside is that I missed the season premier of CSI, but I think I'll live. I occasionally watch CBS and Fox, and I see the commercials for the news. And either serious crime is far more rampant here than in NJ, or it's just less interesting back home. Every day there's news on new murders, a ransom note, crime rings, and people in parking lots with samurai swords. Back home it's usually just small-time robbery or crazy ( Read more... )
