1920

I wrote a fic about the nations and quantum mechanics! It's funny!

Do you want to read it?

Too bad, you can't, unless you preorder the anthology I wrote it for. Practically all of my favorite fanfic writers and fanartists made a contribution (you can see the complete list of contributors on the preorder page), and it was a really cool project, ( Read more... )

um hi

Hot damn, 1920s + Hetalia? I'm already there! This looks like such a fantastic anthology and gosh, 190 pages for that price! Thanks so much for linking to this! =D

;lsdfklkf the 1920s sd;lkf. Quantum mechanics.

And I saw mention of Dada in that post. I might have to get it just because of Dada because jesus, all my art history is coming back to me now. *A*

hetaliasunshine is so lovely. Now if only I could write or draw something happy or light that didn't turn out way too cheesy orz.

Italy is both a wave and a particle, donchaknow.

But it is the place for cheese! If you cannot be cheesy on the fandom's derpy-est fluff parade, then where does the cheese go?

I am mostly just thrilled that it's not all about flapper girls, Prohibition and the lindy hop. Not that I don't love those things but physics. Oh Italy. <3

It can go with vegemite. Which is really just a heinously Australian abstract metaphor for something I have yet to come up with. God I should stop repressing my romantic self and take the cheese as it comes. /slaps wrist

The weird thing is, I don't know if anybody ended up doing flapper girls, Prohibition, and the lindy hop. Which, I mean, that's just a little surreal. It's all "quantum physics!" and "Dadaism!" and "atonality!" and "theater!"

Because I guess we all have to be special snowflakes who are too clever for the obvious shit.

=D =D =D

Gosh, I've never thought of just signing up for pinch-hitting in an exchange before. What's the advantage of doing it that way? (Other than a little less stress for Miaou, but--you know, she's tough. She can take it. XD)

STUFF IN PRINT \o/

...that's a good question. No advantage for me I guess, I just never can think of anything to request, but I always get the benefit of reading what everyone ELSE requests; so I figured I should try to give back somehow! Plus, I THINK I will have spare time in August but I'm not sure, so this way I won't feel like as much of a douche if I need to back out.

Dammit. I was trying to save up for something, but the since it's Hetalia and 1920s, two of my favorite things, I can't pass that up.

Oh yeah... I need to sign up for that again...

I really hope you enjoy it! =D

And sign-ups are open until the...14th, I think, so it's not a rush. Just. Fun exchange! Time to put our angst hats away for like five minutes out of the whole year! It's scary and new but we can all get through it together.

*is excited* :D *waits by mailbox*

I don't know about you, but I seemed to have misplaced my happy hat somewhere in my childhood. Let me know if you see it.
I was so tired when I filled that out last night, I don't even remember what all my prompts were. I guess it really will be a surprise! ._.;;

It was really late when I posted this, so at first I wrote "a cheeseburger and a manatee."

And then I was like "...wait."
