So work shut down today. Mind you, outside my apartment there is almost no wind and certainly no rain. Of course, I'm already hearing speculation that work may be closed tomorrow too. While I don't mind a 4-day weekend, I do mind having to push IOC (that's Inital Operating Capability) from Friday to Monday or Tuesday. We still have so much work to ( Read more... )

Not too bad...I lost half of the power in my apartment on Thursday (and by half I mean I had power in my bedroom, living room, and the half of the kitchen with the fridge and the microwaves). On Friday, I lost all power, but I got it back by Saturday, just in time for the Maryland game. So that's pretty much it. Not too bad - I didn't lose very much food, so it all worked out. Plus, I got two days off of work. :)
