I love the artwork and the notes below it too. It actually makes the art more appealing because, though I love to interpret things myself, I also really like knowing what an artist is trying to convey through their work. I think it rounds it out so much more.

And yay for your writing! :)

Now on to the actual writing...

LOL! That first blank page is the worst with all the thoughts tumbling over each other vying for top billing. My first page is no longer blank, but it's by no means terribly full either. ;p

Thanks very much. I was afraid that all the blabbing would put people off; make them feel like I was trying to impose my own meaning onto others. Art is so subjective after all, and ought to provoke/elicit thought and feeling rather than seek to suppress it. So I'm glad you felt that my blurb enhanced your experience. I'll shut up now. :-)
