This is hard. I mean, really hard - I couldn't find a single one that properly applied. Unless 'lethargic' can mean 'spends inordinate amounts of time watching undead-related TV series'.

Do you think Mr.Phillips is starting to dislike me? Or did he before?

I think Mr Phillips is too christian for 'dislike' but I think he gets uncomfortable when you talk because you are more intelligen, more eloquent and also seem to know a more about philosophers (although he has you on the bible!) and he probably feels that it shows him up when you ask questions and highlight faults in his logic or whatever.

I think he was getting shirty with all of us today because we generally dont listen and are very very rude in his lessons. But it's so hard to pay attention and not have a complete lack of respect for him because (although he really is a very nice man) he is repititious, dull and unengaging and also quite obviously not very clever. Poor man.

I must have some sort of superiority complex because I found it very very hard to find adjectives to apply to myself and was cooly amused and unconvinced by those picked by others.
