This is serious.

Critics United have made a mass list of what stories must be deleted on ffnt. Although most of the stories are repeatedly listed, I find this to be quite alarming for the concerned authors and fans.

Who the heck is that person? Does Critics think he/she are on some bad story or mature-rated story deleting crusade?

>>If you wish to complain, do it here. Need some advice on your story or want to give assistance? Want to join the revolution of helpful, but sometimes blunt tip giving? Maybe you're just bored and want to talk? You've come to the right place!

I feel that this person thinks that the deleting is justified. It's probably just me.

EDIT: BUT! Some of it is a little understandable. I don't agree with story deleting, but there was some rule breaking. Like for example, doing "list-like stories".

They're browsing through the fandoms for the faintest weak points to have an excuse to delete fics. While I understand that they probably grew allergic to seeing bad written stories, it's not a reason to report them all like this. If they don't like crap, they shouldn't read it to begin with. ffnt is a site where writers work to polish their skills - there will always be drafts before masterpieces.

Oh, so it's "People", not "person".

Browsing through my review archive, I recall commenting on one story about it "being good, but it has bad formatting". "Bad formatting" in a way that it was like a script (also, with no spacing), which is not allowed.

Also, song fics (which would fall in the parody category) would really get hit by this. However, I think they were allowed at one point?

The FF/FP guidelines are displayed before you upload a new story each time. I kind of want to agree with what's going on here (not the deleting part, but the scrutinizing), especially if they're contacting the original authors. But at the same time, it looks like that the "flaggers" are being self-righteous and pompous. It's like they enjoy what they are doing in a taunting manner. The target is mainly pokemon, twilight (?), and Naruto, the fandoms with the largest amount of stories. That tells me something ( ... )
