I went to Camila's around 11 last night. She was building a table for her graphic design class, so we went to WalMart (with Lili) to get some basic supplies she still needed, including goldfish! I have studied Arabic since 11 AM yesterday, minus time for classes and meals. I still have many hours left to finish what I need to do. I basically have to go back and do all of the homework for the entire semester. We have to turn in this portfolio tomorrow that has ALL of our work for the semester. How is it that somebody can work 40 hours a week with school full-time, pay the very basic bills, not make any large purchases, and STILL not have enough money to do what one needs? It's snowing like mad here. I love the snow; it fascinates me, yet I am just a poor Georgia boy!! If this were Georgia, everything would be shut down. Nobody would be outside. Woo hoo! Finally some good news has come my way. The exam I got that horrible grade on yesterday has been curved. Apparently the class AVERAGE was 66. That makes my grade substantially better, though the essay portion hasnt been graded yet ( Read more... )
