Just e-mailed in my application for HRM (Human Resource Manager) for the Owen Sound office. They've been looking for like a year, maybe longer. John asked me if you could come visit us one day.. like I am the TOTAL mom now. "Please. Can my friend stay over? Please Please?? Come on mom! we will be good! And there isnt any school tomorrow!" LOL. I was like, yeah. Shawna can come whenever she likes. Only I know nothing about gluten free so you will have to message me a bunch of food requests. lol

I already told him that he needs to win the lottery so he can pay for my trip, and the expenses afterwards, since I prob can't get the time off work and wouldn't have a job when I got back.

They keep talking at work about how we'll probably be opening another office in the States in the next 6 months (we just opened one in San Antonio, and Lafayette a few years ago), and I really hope I can go to help set it up... They've been bouncing around places like AZ and TN.

Actually, from what I can tell, there's a lot more GF options in the US. Like, Betty Crocker even makes GF brownie and cake mixes, but only available in the States! (I do a lot baking from scratch, so it's not really an issue, just a matter of principle and convenience.) If I stick with homemade food, it's not actually too hard to live GF, just a few substitutions every once in a while (and making sure that processed foods, like sauces from a jar, are GF). It's eating out that's really challenging. I end up eating a lot of salads. lol

Actually, the woman I was supposed to send it to... I got an out-of-office auto-reply saying she's gone till Jan 4! lol So I e-mailed the person referrenced in her reply, and then sent my app to someone else; so I might get the job if I'm the only one who thinks of that! lol Yay!
