I was thinking I might need to get new glasses. Until I used my magical cloth, wiped them off, them SHAZAM, I could see again. Blues were more vibrant, the paper became brighter and details of the quality of the materials came through rather than a white sheet to my eyes, I saw the trees and the pines stood out and and the world became alive to me ( Read more... )

So a kid from my neighborhood ODed on a poppy tea recently. He was the brother of a couple of guys that I used to hang out with, we went to the same schools mostly, and hell he was younger than me. So this idea came across my head while contemplating the impossible, refining a definition of art. The idea is that there needs to be some sort of multiplicity in viewing or appreciating the work in order for it to be art. A letter can be well composed, but between two people it is not art.
