Just that was awesome. So cute and a bit angsty, with some hope mixed in there. :D

Pretty good. Will there be more? lol.

I don't plan to write any more to this story. I have other ideas knocking around in my head but they're really just short scenes, nothing too involved. I think it's because I want to see where Kripke and his gang are going to go with it. We'll see though. I haven't written anything in ages and this idea sort of hit me out of the blue and I realized I had to either write it or be driven mad by its constant presence in my psyche. Who knows when the next idea will strike. Anyway, thanks for reading. I'm very happy to know you enjoyed it.

Love Drunk!Dean!!! He's so cute and funny and all kinds of broken... bless him...

Just some of my favourite parts:

“It was just a test,” said Dean. “Now that I know what kind of response time I can get I’ll be more particular about when I send up the bat signal.”
LMAO, that is so Dean!

He had never before been this close to another human body when violence wasn’t involved.
OMG that was such a great line! Love the idea that Castiel's all about the fighting and hasn't ever experienced the nicer things in life...

The writers of Supernatural have created some great characters. You really just throw them into a scene and they start to speak for themselves. So, I got Dean drunk and brought up all his baggage. Alas, I couldn't be the one to comfort him. Thankfully there was an enigmatic (and hot) angel to step into the role. I really think they complement each other because Dean has someone he can bare himself to (figurately and, ahem, literally if he should choose to) and Castiel finds Dean to be an outlet for his curiosity of all things human. Anyway, it's fun to write, especially when people respond to it. Thanks for your comments. I really appreciate them!

Yes, can't you see Dean, post-demon stompage, bruised and battered and covered in mud. His first thought...

"Cas..." he called weakly, hesitantly, as if he wasn't too sold on the idea or perhaps because he wasn't convinced the angel would show.

But before he could blink, Castiel stood before him. Just seeing him there was like taking a shot of morphine. The pain disappeared and a calmness took over him. But the longer he stood there he knew it wasn't enough and Castiel recognized it as well.

"What can I do?" asked Castiel, wanting to do anything to ease Dean's suffering.

Hearing the gentle sincerity in that voice, Dean once again allowed himself to drop all his defenses.

"I need a hug," he whispered.

That was so cute! I loved the idea of Castiel walking to a McDonald's to buy Dean lunch. XD

And the manhug? Cutest thing ever. *_*

I think this story really came out of just wanting to have them hug. Hopefully Eric Kripke feels the same way. *crosses fingers*

Thanks for reading. Glad you liked it.
