The papers are full of murders. Of people falling from third storey windows, of people burning things, of the world collapsing around their ears.
And yet, the biggest problem I have is that I may or may not have misplaced my notes on Anarchy and the Wizarding World for History of Magic (incidentally, about the relations between Ministry of Magics around the world and how the whole system completely lacks rules). Alas, I'd analyse the murder of one Ambassador as such if I had my notes to do so.
Sigh.
As that's all I can do. Sit here and analyse. In some ways, I like it in this context, being able to take a step back and realise what idiots all of them are, but I also think somehow I should be participating.
Except that's a terrifying thought. I'm a academic, I'm not made to participate, I'm no vigilante, no matter what I believe in. And I'm not entirely sure if I agree with either of them...well, I wouldn't do so openly. Admitting one's deepest opinions is a stupid thing to do.
I've never felt so fucking lonely
So, the world's certainly turning out to be an interesting place. A dangerous one, by the sounds of it, too. Curious. Any new fires/murders/window jumping (or is it pushing?) going off?
It's all very intriguing, really. You're all making a very strange history, I hope you realise.
Meanwhile, nothing of great mention is happening in this school. Teachers are still insane/irresponsible/idiots, with some exceptions, students are still clingy and achingly childish and scarily, everyone's smoking. Maybe that one's an illusion
