Me, I mailed in my absentee ballot on October 14-the same day as the Canadian federal election. This time around, I voted with a great deal of hope and enthusiasm, especially compared to the grim determination of four years ago. This time, I think my vote

I had a lot of homework to do yesterday, and when I do homework I write the date at the top of every page. I wrote the date a lot yesterday and every time I did I got a little thrill: "oh yeah, American election day. eep."

I spent the whole day not daring to hope, but I was wrong and thank god.
