Funny that you would say that. On Facebook they have these series of games also, like farmville and such, very innocent games that need hourly, daily maintenance; they are very addictive games. I still have not played, I had a tendency of being addictive in my attention to detail. It is a waste of time as it is cleaning out and reading all the journal entries and emails. I just got my email box empty myself. maintaining it, takes effort, enough time for me to spend let alone getting things done.

Thanks so much for these articles. I am trying very hard lately to not crystalize concepts and rules.. the whole bit about Sunk Costs Fallacies really hit home for me. It's too easy to get invested in some or another "breakthrough" or "discovery" and forget to kill the Buddha and move on. Sunk costs helps me understand this better...

Does anyone know about the neurology involved in Sunk Costs Fallacies? I know it has something to do with loss aversion. It feels like such a glitch in the human mind to me.
