When I was thinking about what to write for this one, I somehow heard the "on a wintry evening when you catch the fire's glow" line in my head as a sort of soundtrack over the images of them from 511 - making love in front of the fire at Britin - and that combination of words and pictures just wouldn't go away. I figured it's one memory that even Brian might feel a twinge of sentiment about (not that he would ever admit that, of course LOL), and the story just grew from there.

I don't know how many hours I spent with your writing and enjoyed it since I am joining the fandom - many many hours! Every time I see a new one from you I'm happy and you really never dissapoint me: to read this typical Brianesque inner dialogue was so great and realistic, it is easy to imagine him thinking while working, reflecting about important moments, admitting feelings to himself even when he still is what he has been in the show, only just a bit more "more"...
