Current Word Count: 1,000 according to my computer, but I've been doing the majority of my writing in notebooks and haven't yet transferred to a digital copy.
Characters/Pairings: Rage/JT
What I Like About the Story: I am loving this storyline, okay? It's a down-the-well-but-not-really type deal that I am having so much fun with and I have the end already written and guuuuh.
What I Don’t Like About the Story: There's no huge Rage database I can do quick research on. If I need to know something, I have to dig through the scarce Rage information offered by the series, or guess and pray that it wasn't mentioned somewhere I forgot and won't get called out on it. Also, I go back and read and I feel like I'm fluffing my story with too many unnecessary words.
Anything Else: I honestly wrote the ending first because I knew that I wanted that scene with the handicap of working around it more than I wanted to work on something from scratch. I went back and asked myself "Okay, how did they get here ( ... )

Going well so far. I never thought I would write this genre (psst, mpreg!), but I'm enjoying the challenge, and I'm hoping it will be kind of unique.

Current Word Count: On my computer, about 2,000. I've been writing in notebooks, random dialogue on napkins, lol. I just have to transfer it to my computer.

Characters/Pairings: Brian/Justin, with the gang and Justin's gang (friends from New York, this is several years post-series) sprinkled throughout.

What I Like About the Story: It's a continuation of a universe that I created, that I love. It gives me a lot of wiggle room with characters that I can flesh out. Plus the actual storyline isn't something I've seen done in fandom and it's blending together a fandom event with a real life event that's been happening in the gay community the last year or two, and that's what I try to do. Go for something that isn't overly done. Coming into fandom so late (last year), you worry that it's all been done already.

What I Don’t Like About the Story: Feeling a little stunted. I'm hitting a few blocks here and there while trying to remain true to my universe and not go from Justin being life-threateningly depressed to suddenly ( ... )

Current Word Count: 8700

Characters/Pairings: Brian, an original character

What I Like About the Story: The story took an unplanned turn. Without my conscious consent, it now has a new direction and a fresh theme. Also the genre has changed. I like this new direction; it's much more interesting to write than my original plan. I tried to come up with a perfect love interest for Brian--for me, Justin will never do--but instead I came up with a puzzle. The character is of the third gender. Brian doesn't even know if the other character is a man or a woman. At the moment I haven't decided which one the character's biological sex will be.

What I don't Like About the Story: The story took an unplanned direction and theme. I decided to join this challenge in order to try out writing a romance. It seems that I'm unable of doing that.

Anything Else: I'm getting at the point of writing when it will be next to impossible to stop. At that point I find it hard to concentrate on anything else, like work or friends or ( ... )

I might complete another story of mine for this challenge. This one seems to be growing into a monster of at least 30.000 words, and in the given time-frame, I won't be able to complete it.
