Earlier today, the Iowa Supreme Court ruled on a lawsuit dating back to 2007 or so, regarding whether same-sex marriage is OK. I forget how many justices there are, but none of them actually disagreed. Unanimous ruling says men can marry other men. This upheld an earlier lower court ruling saying so. I am glad that iowa is bringing some common sense and forward thinking bumanism to the midwest. That said, I'm sorry at the dispersementr of your workplace. Here they've shut down two auto plants. Already we are at over 14% unemployment. Big bad scary world just got badder and scarrier. I so need to go to a gay wedding. That'd be fabulous and unscary.
