So my grandmother is still in the hospital. They are not sure what is wrong but she is in a room by herself and you have to wear a gown and a facemask to go see her. that kind of scares me. She still dosen't want to be there and wants to go home really bad, Hard to explain to her that its better for her. I don't know if she will ever get out

I work for a hospital system and we have to have the tb training and testing ourselves every year. I'm betting it's just a precaution because of the blood. TB isn't as bad as it used to be - it's totally treatable nowadays, although it's quite contagious, so if there's a chance that someone has it, it's treated with filtered air and contamination precautions. I'm sorry you and your gramma have to go thru all this. Hopefully, she'll be home again soon.

When ya said she wuz coughin up blood, TB wuz me furst thought, but me didn't tink it wuz all dat common enny more. An yuppers, it purty contageous, but ya not die frum it like eveybuddy used to in da late 1800's, it took a long time ta die frum it back den even. It wuz a purty romantic ting ta die frum doh, inspired da whole goth dracula ting, Emily Bronte, Doc Holliday an all dem.
