Dear Dark Knight Rises,
Never stop being fucking amazing.
Anne was a fantastic Catwoman. While I have loved the various Catwomen over the decades (except for that one we shall not speak about), I think she was probably truest to the Selina of the comics. She wasn't crazy, but very much.....well....like a cat. Playful and sexy one moment, vicious and bitter the next.
Bane, oh Bane. What a scary man you were.
Even moreso when we realize you're not the true villain.
TALIA. That was an awesome twist, and an extra little turn of the knife in the spine.
And I loved how they managed to organically bring Robin into Nolan's verse.
Plus, HAPPY ENDING. Bruce fakes his death, elopes with Selina and gives Alfred his wish. Wayne manor becomes an orphanage. And Detective Blake prepares to take up the mantle and protect Gotham.
