Have You Ever Wondered...

what drives you to drink? I don't think people drink for the hell of it ever. People drink to get shit off their mind or out of their mind. Some people drink because of shit that happens during the day or during the week. Some people drink to get a person off of their mind. I am one of the people that drinks because there is a person that drives me ( Read more... )

Not that you asked for my opinion or anything but you know I can't resist...I think that at this point in time going back home for a bit is probably one of the best decisions you have made in a while. It will give you the resources you need to make money and save it, as opposed to making it and then having to put it right back into your apt, groceries, utilities, other bills, and gas. I mean sure you will have some expenses but they will be significantly less. Plus this break may give you some time to clear your head, and think things through. Also, absence is a great healing process...trust me I ran to FSU so I could get away from something and get over someone...and look at me now...I am happier than I have been in a long time. Maybe all you two need is just a little space from one another because sometimes being around someone a lot with other emotions and things all mixed up can really suffocate any hope of a lasting friendship. Just relax, everything will work itself out...and just give her some space as well as yourself ( ... )

You are a bigger and better person than to drink man. You know that too. Don't dig a hole that can be even harder to crawl out of than overcoming a broken relationship. Trust me on that one. Work through it, but I can guarantee that drinking is not going to help you or "she". So, just talk, make her listen. And listen to her. It'll get worked out. Just talk, and don't let others make decisions for you. Your free-will is all you really have control over. Don't let someone, or alcohol take that away too. Be strong, stay safe. Love always. Later days...
