Indeed, it explains Q's attitude much better than ST Voyager. In fact, I hate what they did with Q's personality in this series. For me this is not "my" Q anymore. Anyway, I love to read about his relationship with Amanda and about Q in their original energy forms. It goes with "my world" perfectly :)
