wow - i'm impressed with all of this. and glad that you're getting a new vac. i cannot imagine life with pets without one. in fact, sometimes i feel like all i do is vacuum!
Gah. Don't be. I mean, don't get me wrong - I got a shitload done, which was useful - but I also COMPLETELY exhausted myself on what were supposed to be my days off, so I started the week tired and never got my feet back under me, which was d-u-m dumb. Plus I cooked enough for an army, which I am not, and so now have an awful lot of food sitting in my fridge threatening to go off if I don't Do Something With It.
i cannot imagine life with pets without one.
Yeah. I have a small rechargeable upright floor sweeper that does a pretty good job on the non-carpeted floors, but the carpeted ones...it's a good thing the color's neutral, that's all I'm sayin'.
Oh, darlin', I didn't - the head work languished almost completely, which was frustrating (if interesting, to the neurotically self-analyzing part of my brain). I did get a lot of the other things done, which was useful, but I also tired myself out entirely, which put a crimp in my week I haven't yet uncrimped. Talk about d-u-m dumb...
I never seem to get "head" work done on weekends. I feel a lot of times like weekends are for catching up on LJ/email/laundry... maybe some cleaning. Grocery shopping. When I am not so lazy I do try to pre-plan weekly meals but I have been pretty lazy lately. *g*
...just reading this made me want coffee and a nap, probably in that order
Heh. Me, too. I totally wore myself out over the weekend, which is pretty frakking stupid, actually.
s3 of NCIS is...*checks*...FOUR MINUTES from being finished. I am so excited. (Now I just have to get the first half of s2, which I horrifyingly threw out by accident at the end of a long day of doing bills/etc at a cafe because I was so sick of looking at the walls of my apartment I was about to climb them using a sledgehammer for assistance. sigh.)
