Jesus, the ride home today was one of the most terrifying experiences I've ever had. The roads are covered in about a half-inch of icy slush. I passed no fewer than 6 accidents and at least three of them involved cars that ended up pointing the wrong way at the end

Yep, unless the restaurant is closed (and I'll call around 6:30 to make sure they're open) I think it's close enough that I'm not concerned. I'll certainly understand if Hal and Gina and anyone else who would have to drive more than a few miles to get to Blackwood don't show up.
