Title: Masaki, my (new) brother
Pairing/Group: Sakuraiba (brothers). There’s a small hint at Yama, but you blink and you miss it.
Rating/Warnings: It’s a bit angsty, but still pretty PG.
Summary: This is Sho’s speech. When he was six he got a new brother, you see, but it took him a while to learn to appreciate him. And this is kind of that ( Read more... )

I finally read it and... and I seriously got teary T^T
Ah~ To think Sakurai nearly went through with his plan to end it all... I'm so glad Aiba was there to stop him...
At the beginning I wasn't too sure where this was all going but gosh, this fic was really beautiful. And the growing brotherly love was just the cutest too >.<
Thank you so so much for sharing~
I really enjoyed reading it c:

I found Sho's voice refreshingly honest, which I think is what made this tale a worthwhile read. I loved his cheekiness, the occasional tangents, and the humor he was able to inject to an otherwise serious theme. The story build-up is good and efficiently leads to the right amount and level of emotions needed to truly appreciate and feel that crucial moment when Masaki told him, "Don't do it." The conclusion was satisfying, too, and I really love the Yama reference, and that last sentence about the glass monkey. Now I want one for myself (*´▽`*)

Thanks for sharing this entertaining and very meaningful story! ~<3

Thank you!
I think that's by far the best comment I've ever gotten. I'm actually quite proud of this fic (^///^) and to receive this kind of feedback makes me extremely happy, especially considering it's so positive. I've honestly reread your comment five times now xD
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
And about that glass monkey...I kind of want one too ^^
