Thank you for looking this up...I actually have a wonderful landlord.... he's already had an electrician come out and he's wrapped the boxes in plastic to keep the elements out... but the eave is still exposed... i'm worried about the line on the fence though...he's working on it...just that all the electricians and contractors are working double time to fix stuff right now...I'm staying with Lori and Purple between the 2 houses... It's ok.... or at least it's going to be...I've moved the birds to Purple's and have only lost 2 fish, so far... the minnows are hardy little cusses...

I'm so glad your LL isn't being a dick. Since you aren't the homeowner, you should NOT have to suck up the cost of this like the rest of us who got slammed do. Kevin is working on our roof and eaves and doing the prep work, but we're still gonna have to get an electrician and he IS one! Argh.
The landlord being a fucking idiot doesn't mean you have to live in an unlivable house. To add to what Kevin said about the landlord being required to fix all that, if the landlord *doesn't* in a reasonable amount of time (I'm not sure what "reasonable amount of time" is, but it's not very long), you can break the lease without penalty and move somewhere else.
I'm sorry that you're going through all this all at once. And yeah, working for LG&E right now must really suck, because you can't even escape it by going to work. :(
