Darlings, I discovered something last night:

I knew Flotsam was being repeated (on BBC2) BUT failed to notice that the duration of the edition had been extended - to 40/45 minutes!

This is known as QI XL, an extended cut of what was (and wasn't) shown on BBC1, Friday.

(The Beeb have done this with Have I Got News for You too.)

Damn! I thought it was just a repeat!! My dad actually said "strange that they would be showing repeats now; it's prime tie viewing!" AAARGH! BUT WE TURNED IT OVER BECAUSE WE'D ALREADY SEEN IT ON FRIDAY!

It seems to be available on iPlayer, but as always only for UK residents, sadly. I supidly forgot to program my DVD recorder last night to record it. I hope the extra bits will be available online somewhere because the QI XL is only broadcast once.

And I hope the future DVDs will include all those extra bits.
