This is brilliant. Honestly just reading the prompt confused me and I thought it'd be impossibly confusing to read, but it wasn't. It was amazingly hilarious, intimate, and well written. I think you did a good job staying in character and categorizing the differences between each of these characters and their relationships with one another. This was really fun to read! Thanks! Thank you so much! <3 The POVs at the start were a bit of a pain for me to write where the reader knew the identity of the characters, but the POV character was still using their old names, so I'm really glad you didn't find it too confusing to read.

And jealous!Erik is my favourite kind of Erik. :D

SO I READ IT ON AO3 BECAUSE IT WAS MORE IPHONE FRIENDLY BUT HAD TO COME HERE AND COMMENT BECAUSE YOU HAVE MY HEART, TAKE IT AND BREAK IT HOWEVER YOU LIKE. SO MANY LINES KILLED ME. (And yeah, I thought about how powerful Magneto was meant to be in the movies vs comic books, and it struck me that based on X1-X2, he's probably not as crazy overpowered as comic book Magneto, who can kill people by manipulating the iron content in their blood, tilt the earth's axis and has minor telepathic abilities. *_*)

Omg, just the other day I was reading the comic where Magneto healed Prof X while pretending to be a teacher at the school by using little metal bots in Charles' body asdfghjkl!

(Maybe movie Magneto hasn't gone fully crazy yet. *nods*)

OH MY GOD, just don't even get me started on all the crazy things Magneto can do with metal objects because you don't understand how quickly my mind just goes to PORN PORN PORN I CAN USE THIS FOR PORN ERIK IS INSIDE CHARLES HEALING HIM WITH HIS COCK POWERS.

(I would pay good money to see Ian McKellen or Fassy go crazy as Magneto. I can see post-X3 Magneto flipping out over Charles after he regains his powers.)

AHHHH! This story is 10 million kinds of wunderbar! OMG, first, I have to say that I have such a deep abiding LOVE for stories that bring together both James and Michael *and* Erik and Charles, so I was squeeing like a mad thing over that aspect, AND on top of that wonderful goodness, you add in the absolutely brilliant humour (I was literally laughing out loud reading this!), the wonderful interplay between the characters, the adventurous plot and the sweet yummy that is the r'ships shared by J/M and C/E, AND I loved the little temporary almost r'ships between J/E and C/M, too! This was so cleverly done and such a delight to read, so funny and warm and completely charming! I adored it! :D <333
